HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY SOHAVI JEWELLERY?
Many factors can influence the wear and tear of jewellery. Do take the same care of your jewellery as you would of any precious item. Always make sure it is properly cleaned and stored in a jewellery in a dry place away from the effects of sunlight and the environment. Precious metals like sterling silver and 18 KT or 24 KT gold vermeil are also greatly affected by chemicals, so keep your jewellery away from perfumes, make up, body lotions or oils as well as sun creams wherever possible. It’s best to put your jewellery on after you have finished dressing so as to minimise any exposure to harsh elements. Remember to take it off before going to bed at night, whilst showering and please do be careful not to expose jewellery to any household cleaning products.
CARE OF 925 STERLING SILVER PRODUCTS
Please do store Silver in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight. Silver may discolour if worn whilst swimming or any contact with chlorinated water. Silver can be cleaned with a soft toothbrush and warm soapy water, or with a soft specialist silver jewellery cloth
CARE OF 18KT AND 24KT GOLD VERMEIL PRODUCTS
Do store your gold vermeil Jewellery pieces in a cool dry place. When gold is exposed to soapy water it can take on a dull sheen, so try to remove gold pieces before bathing. Gold can be cleaned using a very soft specialist jewellery cloth. Gold vermeil jewellery may need to be re-plated over time depending on wear.
